As most of you know, we at WestPlains Skydiving usually have our Skydiving Safety Day a little later than the Official USPA Safety Day. This year, we will be doing our review of procedures, safety record and other Safety Day activities on Saturday, March 30th. The Location is still to be determined, but if you subscribe to our blog, our newsletter, or our Facebook page, we’ll keep you up to date as soon as we have a venue.

This year, we would love for all of our experienced skydivers to encourage the newly licensed or returning skydiving students to participate in Safety Day and to be vigilant in learning good safety habits. As an incentive for everyone to be safe this season, we will be giving away a prize to the Safest Skydiver at the Ritz. We’ve already got a nomination for last year’s SSR and will be announcing the winner at safety day on March 30th.

Here’s to having fun in the sport we love and keeping all of our friends and family from injury.

West Plains Skydiving is getting ready for an early Spring and we hope you are too!

There’s nothing better than the feeling of complete freedom and exquisite ADRENALINE when jumping from perfectly good airplanes. It may not be a lifestyle for everyone, but I believe everyone should try it at least once. So if you’ve been thinking of taking a leap, why not book your jump now?! So many people have a list of “someday” adventures that they never really get around to checking off. Maybe it’s because they just don’t know how truly easy it is!!

There are many dedicated skydivers that give their all in order to keep our humble dropzone operating, but with an optimistic plan for growth, we need to expand our community. If you’ve got any interest in working at the Dropzone this season, please email us:

[contact-form-7]

we would love to hear from you!
