Come one, Come all, bring a friend, have a ball!! We invite any and all skydivers to come visit, play and help us celebrate the return of Big Bird 2 on Memorial Day weekend May 24th through May 27th. There will be no boogie fee, so you can pick and choose which events you want to participate in.

We will have a variety of events for the weekend including SIS jumps, RW, Free flying and any other debauchery we can think of. Weather plays a huge factor in our sport, however we do have a number of other entertainments planned in case the weather does not cooperate.

We are doing a raffle with proceeds going to Dana Fuller who was injured last year on a skydive. Tickets will be 5$ each or 6 tickets for 25$. You do not need to be present to win. Prizes include:

This is a Sisters in Skydiving event as well — Cindy Stroup will be jumping with the baby sister jumpers!

Safety Day for West Plains Skydiving:

There will be some refreshments, prizes, games, and you get to see all those fun Summer Skydiving friends that you’ve been missing all winter. We’ll also go over dropzone procedures, update informational waivers, and share our goals for the 2013 season. I’ve also heard rumors of possible jumps to happen after the Safety Day Events, weather dependent, of course.

Blue Skies for All!

This year, we would love for all of our experienced skydivers to encourage the newly licensed or returning skydiving students to participate in Safety Day and to be vigilant in learning good safety habits. As an incentive for everyone to be safe this season, we will be giving away a prize to the Safest Skydiver at the Ritz. We’ve already got a nomination for last year’s SSR and will be announcing the winner at safety day on March 30th.
